Educational School Trips The Isle of Wight, for many years, has been a popular and successful venue for educational school trips, and Westbrook is a perfect base for such a trip. We have been providing accommodation and packaging visits for the last 20 years and the majority of our schools return year after year. The island has a dedicated Teacher Resource Centre to help you get the best out of your visit and we can plan an itinerary to suit your requirements. Our full package includes door to door service from school to Westbrook possibly visiting one of the Historic Ships at Portsmouth Dockyard and then taking a car ferry over to the island. Once here there is a wide selection of venues to choose from dependent on your curriculum demands and choice. These include the island home of Queen Victoria - Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, Fort Victoria Planetarium, Flamingo Park, Havenstreet Steam Railway, Dinosaur Farm (including guided field trips) and much more. Typical prices for 2008 including a visit each day are around £200 including VAT.
